CEMETERY LOCATION:

Locate the intersection of Highways 183 and 130.
Drive west on Highway 183 until you come to the Keowee Key Community South-End 
Main Entrance.
Turn right and drive north to the guard shack.
Drive north on Port Tack Road until Long Reach Road. (in the general area of the 
Country Club)
Turn left on Long Reach Road and drive 0.7 miles west.
Turn right on Leeward Road and drive to end.

CHURCH/CEMETERY HISTORY:
------------------------

- Part of the Keowee Key Community was owned by Samuel Taylor.
- In 1807, Jeffery Beck purchased a 643-acre tract from the Taylor Estate.  
- John Swafford purchased approximately 406-acres.  
- James M. Hunnicutt purchased approximately 289-acres.  

The Keowee Key Garden Club has published a more complete cemetery history.
